Not everyone is going to accept you the way you are. They said, just be yourself but they questions when you started to act like one. They said they care for you, they lied.
Only certain people are really care bout you and willing to fully accept you no matter what and will be honest with you if they see something good/bad bout you. They will not talk behind your back or humiliate you. Those people are worth to keep forever.
I've experiencing so many things since i was young and too naive. It shaped me to be who I am today. And as people changed, i'm changing too. We all do.
Love everyone but make it more for those who really loves and care bout you. Stay true to yourself although there are lots of douche trying to bring you down. Don't be afraid and chin up.
